Had a corked 1999 Ashton Hills Vineyard Pinot Noir last Friday at a wine group dinner (there was duck on the menu!)
Investigated a local replacement, but the previous distributor no longer does (distribute AH that is), so sent a fax to Stephen George late afternoon today. Had a return fax within 2 hours confirming a replacement would be sent asap. Now if he would just get an email address....
Looking forward to drinking a couple of his other Pinots (Salmon Brut 2001) over Christmas/New Year, delightful bubbles.
