TN:Glenmore Cabernet Sauvignon 2010

Post by Waiters Friend »

G'day

Ian Bell used to be a winemaker at Moss Wood, and originally this wine was labelled under the Moss Wood 'Glenmore' label.

Deep crimson colour, with no igns of bricking. A typically Margaret River nose with eucalypt / menthol, blackberries, cassis, graphite, mulberries, mocha and cedar /vanillan oak. The palate emphasises he fruit flavours, with tannins integrating nicely and just enough acid for freshness. There's (not surprisingly) some signs of maturity and development, but I would have suggested that the wine was less than 10 years old. Long finish and everything in harmony.

My last bottle, sadly :(

Cheers
Allan
Wine, women and song. Ideally, you can experience all three at once.
