Brick red in colour; superb example of an aged Bin 389. A Perfectly structured wine, complex and full-bodied showing plenty of plummy, dark chocolate and bottle developed earthy characteristics. The long, lingering finish is characerised by dry tannins and I'd still think this wine has a few years ahead of it.

Cheers

Sounds yummy. How would you compare it to the 1986 ?

Hi Mark,
I think the 86 will be a longer lived (and better) wine, but the 82 is pretty special to be drinking so well after 22 years. I would have loved to try this wine when it was young, you could tell that it was once a monster and it has aged so gracefully.

cheers
