TN: 1999 Turkey Flat Shiraz

A deep purple color with a earthy, sweet nose and a hint of plum. The flavor is jammy, sweet blackfruits, earth and a little licorice. Medium body and finished a bit shorter than I remember from last year. Seems to have mellowed somewhat but gained more in complexity.
Cheers

I would say it should be at its best in a few years and probably hold for a few more after that, nothing really long term I wouldn't think.

I felt it a standard 10 year Barossa shiraz ie 2009 drinking. The 10 year rule serves me well within a few mile radius of Krondorf Rd- Melton's, Old Block, BPress.

2005-2009 optimum ex-winery notes. Halliday longer.

Thanks for the note.
