Irvine Grand Merlots - Any recent tastings of early vintages

Hi all,

Has anybody recently had any of the 1985 through 1989 vintages lately ? I know there has been a bit of discussion and bad reviews of them on Ebob lately and wonder if anyone here have had similar experiences.

I have some magnums, double magnums and imperials of these earlier vintages and would like to form an opinion on their drinkability.
