FWIW,

Check out the number of unsold lots at tonights online WA auction! The sooner something's done about unrealistic reserves the better, IMHO. I buy and sell at Langton's regularly, but, sorry guys, this sort of thing needs some recalibration. Just my 2 cents.

That's the beauty of auctions for something like wine. It really establishes what something is worth - which is what somebody is prepared to pay for it, not some POOTA figure that no-one is their right mind would pay...!

too many mad dog wine profiteers, not enough down right serious wine drinkers.

I like the Henschke and Rockford's ideal . wine is made to drink, not to make profit.
