We recently moved into a new house. Underneath the house is ample room to build a cellar, although it will be a little shorter than I would like. The headroom will be a factor!

Should I bother? Will it become a white elephant or an Aladdin's cave?
Ciao,

You know it makes sense!

Aladdins cave! I wish I hadn't waited so long to get mine set up properly.
Cheers

Life's too short to drink white wine and red wine is better for you too! :-)

I occasionally show it off but I wouldn't describe that as entertaining in there. The temperature would rise and I don't want the lights on too long.

Its definitely just for storing wine and it does that job very well.

I had my wine in a storage facility for many years but its so much easier and nicer to have it all at home. And so far, I've managed not to open the good bottles when I'm drunk. Its certainly no white elephant but a living, breathing and changing cellar.

Go for it, you won't regret it.
Cheers,
Kris
