I'd say the 86 Cyril will be ok depending on how it has been kept. I doubt the 82 edelstone will be much but you never know. Only one way to find out will be to drink them!

The '86 Cyril and was drinking very well in April this year with a pronounced 'sweetness' of fruit on both nose and palate. Surprisingly, the tannins were a trifle angular to the fruit. I haven't tried the '82 Edelstone for many years and you should expect advanced tertiary characters to prevail at this stage of its life. Let us know how they're faring when you crack them.
I suspect Edelstone might be a better ager than HoG...
I had a 1972 Mt Edelstone last year that was firing so strongly on all cylinders that it seemed only 5-8 years old. Amazing wine. Beat the 1972 HoG we had (admittedly not a great bottle), and rivalled the 1972 Grange also consumed (definitely a great bottle).
I think if the wine is alive, it should still be impressive.
Cyril Henschke Cabernet Sauvignon 1986
Medium ruby/purple in colour. The nose was a blossoming bouquet of blackcurrents, herbs, cassis, some truffle and licorice with floral/earthy aromas and slightly more savoury than the sweet '96. The palate has flavours of cedar, cigar-box, vanilla with superb ripe blackcurrent fruit and violets. Velvet smooth tannins and a long finnish. Sensational and beautifully balanced stuff. Should hold for a while yet. Sept '01.
The one last week was going down hill to some but somewhat still BDX like to me. A decent drop if well cellared.
