Got to try the 2024 Penfolds Special Shiraz released this year.
Retails for $74.
It has a portion of 2022 Grange in it, maybe 3% to 5%.
First release, so it might or might not turn out to be a one-off.
Cork was crumbly, but the wine was OK. Actually better than that.
A step up from the Bin 28 I am guessing.

Passing through Hong Kong every month I pick up some tax free vino ( and better if I know the distributor ) and today a six pack of 2021 Cappellano Barolo Rupestris.

Mount Mary time. Anyone grabbing some wines?

I got a mixed 6 of Agricola (the 3 continuous labels), then saw the reviews and went back for 3 more of the Seeliger Shiraz.

Mixed Agricola. Excited to try the wines from the old Steinert vineyard.

Some bargain Italians at auction after driving up prices of some Piedmont wines, I snuck in under the radar and pipped a few Chiantis.

Grabbed some Mount Mary wines.

Also grabbed a few Fighting Gully Road Chardonnay, a small sample from the latest Bindi release and a Chatto Isle Pinot to give it a whirl.
