G'day
I found a couple of these lurking in the cellar. These are made from Pemberton fruit by this long-established and talented Swan Valley winemaker.
Crimson with a touch of tawny. Developed nose with a touch of VA on first pour. Leather, vanilla, crushed violets, menthol, black olive, Christmas cake, and blackberry. The palate is also well developed, with more leather, plenty of tannic grip, some red berries, and enough acid to impart some youthfulness. A reasonably long finish.
Cheers
Allan
