I am going to a aussie shiraz tasting in London on Saturday.
Not sure which wine to take.
Have the following
Mt Edelstone 92
Grant Burge Meshach 94
Grange 97
Yering station shiraz viognier 2002
Balmoral syrah 1997
Giaconda Warner vineyard 2003
Which of these will be drinking the best now?

Not sure but if I could choose which I would like to try then I would plump for the Meschach.
Having said that it probably would improve better than some of the others
cheers

It is the Warner vineyard Giaconda.
The Yarra Yering 2002 was given 96 points by James Halliday but unsure whether too young.
Any more feedback appreciated.

Any chance of an invite, I would like to taste the lot!
Agree, both the Balmoral & Mt Edelstone, would be my preference.

Graham brought a couple of the 96 Balmoral to an offline here in Brisbane a while back and it was looking at or just past its peak. The 97 might be ready to go now. Graham?
Speaking of a Brisbane offline........

97 is drinking nicely, wouldn't let it go much further. Had a 98 and 99 Mountain Blue last night, 98 off

and 99 too young still

. Michael, I look forward to another offline....preference?
