Winestate Annual Awards - NSW Continues its Previous Form

Once again SA scooped the pool at the Winestate annual wines of year. Not only does SA produce much of Aussie wines but also execellent top end stuff. Whilst VIC TAS and WA do well at high price points NSW continues to confirm it's permanent bottom place. As one wine writer said "NSW makes 90% of the noise but 10% of the wines". It seems a shame that many OS visits are to Sydney and first impressions are of Hunter.

Ok people, give me your best.

No argument from me Chuck - the only wines of interest from NSW for me are the Tyrrells whites and Brokenwood Shiraz, although the latter is becomng a bit dear QPR-wise.

If I include Canberra, then also Clonakilla.

Chris

Can't discount Lake's Folly and Mount Pleasant but other than that, I do prefer the SA wines.
