TN: Capel Vale 'Black Label' Mallokup Malbec 2021

G'day
I don't drink a lot of straight Malbecs, and as a result I have accumulated quite a few without exploring the variety fully.
Purple black in colour. Lots of red plums and berries, with some spicy oak and dark chocolate. The palate has a thickness of texture, which complements the juicy red fruits, mocha and some cedary oak. Acid is soft, and tannins are supporting without being aggressive or drying. Medium bodied and a slightly short finish.
Not likely to improve greatly, although may hold for a couple of years.
Cheers
