TN: 2015 Azienda Agricola Crasà SRC Etna Rosso

From the northern slopes of Mount Etna. Made from 90% Nerello Mascalese, 10% Carricante & Grecanico. 13.5% ABV.
Lively red fruits, orange rind, smokey ash, Turkish delight, bitter herbs. Long finish with a lively Barbera-like acidity. Tannins very much in the background although I think with time they will unfurl. A very clean wine despite no fining, filtration or SO2 (and no oak too). Very approachable and just so yummy to drink. Looking forward to tasting this with a few more years on it.
