Straw. Tight, closed nose, which only gives up a little peach and cashew. The palate is also closed but there sa sense of something coiled up in there. Peaches and cream, a trace of herbs, and also a lemony element which strengthens on the finish. Acid is very fine and integrated already, and quite a bit of grape tannin helping make the finish clean and tight. French Oak is nicely judged, and balanced with the fruit.
24 hours later, the wine had hardly moved. still the same TN!
Love em like this. This could stand toe to toe with Australia's best and hold its own, and is stunning VFM at about $30. Very very good, and room to improve.
cheers
