Hello
Taking the family to Hong Kong in April.
Does anyone here know of well priced accommodation options there, or perhaps web sites to get well priced accommodation?
Appreciate any help?

My wife uses "WOTIF" for accomodation for her company. often it is cheaper to get a package deal including hotels.

Gav, from my experience it is usually cheaper to arrange a package deal (flight and accomodation) through a travel agent than to book flights and accomodation separately, unless you have free stays with rels or are staying longer than a couple of weeks.

hi gavin
try "The Wharney" hotel in Wan Chai. It is located on the island in the middle of everything and is very reasonable.
i have stayed there and it is good.
i didn't think it expensive.

ps - i live in hk and used it when i first came here

Sounds great Ed.
Have to organise something. I move to Hong Kong on March 15 and will live on the Island; probably Mid Levels.
Will have to pick your brains on wine shops and tasting groups.
To complete the package how do I get the AFL live?

Perhaps one of the 'locals' can help find a suitable place? It'd be fun, Robyn and I would love to meet you all.

try the hotelclub.net. If you book hotel with them, they give you rebate which you can use toward your next booking. I have been booking all my accommondation theough them. The price is pretty cheap and you can check the hotel rating done by people who stayed there.
Give it a shot.
