Based on this I'll assume I've missed 24b and Cabernet, shame about the 24b as I've never got it, just happy getting the Cab Malbec and straight Malbec which are my favourites
I prefer Shiraz Mataro due to the Masculine character, I find their Malbec is a bit more lean compared to Argentinian counterpart. I have never asked the winery if they would release a straight Mataro, those would certainly get some followings. :o

They released a first ever ( I think ) Mataro in 2021. I haven’t tried it and to be honest had forgotten completely until you mentioned it.

Anyone tried?

My card was hit after my phone call when my order form found in the South Australian pile. Minus either the 24B, Shiraz or Cabernet. I’m not the only 30 year plus to miss out in preference to newer mailing listers. Hope they limit to three bottles soon if that’s the way forward for Wendouree.

I’ll get what I missed out on via the sale of some other wine from my cellar. It may only take the selling of a single bottle of Burgundy ( 1er too ) to access flipped Wendourees I missed out on. Crazy world.

I'm in the same boat. Looks like I've missed out on 2 wines and my guess is the 24b and Cabernet as well. As long as my beloved Cab Malbec is there I am happy!

It's the end of August, not looking good. I think that I have missed out.

Plenty will end up on secondary market Alan. 24b and the Cabernet were selling for $180 retail recently. Auction will see Shiraz blends cheaper. Not ideal I know.

On another wine social media group, 24b was sold to a number of people who had been on the list for a short time. Maybe next year you’ll get some.

I’ve had six bottles of 2004 Wendouree this week. Just lovely wine!

Thanks for the encouragement Jamie. Guess, I will have to wait it out. I was lucky to get 6 mix bottles last year. Wow! 2004, you don't have to wait, you can drink it right now.

I think I am in the same boat Alan, Green stripe here in Melbourne who has enjoyed 6-9 bottle orders over the last 2 years. I dare say the reported smaller yield in 2024 may mean a few miss out. I will just look for a couple of Shiraz Mataro or Cabernet Malbec at auction once the dust settles.

Yes! I am lucky today. Just checked on my credit card account and there is a deduction of $458 from Wendouree about 4 days ago. I will love whatever is coming. Darellk please check on your credit card and I am sure yours will be hit too.

Skye Cellars in Adelaide have a range of 24 Wendouree available. $180 each but they are selling out quickly. Great for Adelaide residents who can just rock up.

Shiraz $230, 2-3 current release wines still available but a few back vintage wines are sold out. I know East End Cellars and Ed Cellars have stocked Wendouree for years but are there a few flippers who pass bottles off to other retailers. Certainly was par for the course in the 1980s and 90s.

Wendouree pricing on the secondary market seems to have strengthened in my loose observations? 24b FOMO effect?

Just got hit today which was a nice surprise - looks like only 3 of the 6 that I ordered but it will do

Pretty disappointed again with this year's allocation, but it's becoming the norm for those of us over in the West unfortunately.

16 years on the list and got 3 bottles of Shiraz Mataro. I'm not that fussed as I'm not the hugest fan, but my wife loves them and she's a bit disappointed. Don't think I'll bother any more. I have enough in the cellar to last me well into retirement. Twice in 3 years I've got basically nothing. Customer service at Wendouree is non existent when people with only a few years on the list are getting their full orders and people with many years are getting next to nothing.

Carl, in the current guise, it never will.
The business model ensures that the Brady's could sell every bottle five times over.
With a reported production of somewhere between 200-300 dozen for each of the wines (24b may be less), its a nice problem to have.
I'll stick with it as long as the Brady's have it.
Cheers Craig

Empirical evidence suggests there’s an huge amount of folks buying Wendouree, and not drinking nearly enough of it annually to make a dent in their holdings.

We need a yearly Wendouree Festival. Mailing listers delve into their cellars and drink a little Wendouree. Of course this excludes the impassioned mailing list flippers- who the allocation process well supports of late .
