Deserves it's own thread really, people's thoughts on Aussie's Best Shiraz/Cabernet/Chardonnay etc Most opinions will be predictable, but would still be interesting to see?

I would vote Tyrrell's 4 Acres.

Clonakilla SV would be in the conversation.

I was really annoyed with myself to miss out on the 2014 4 acres. I ended up getting some of the Vat 9 and the McWilliams Old Paddock and Rosehill but overall not nearly as much of the 2014 as I would have liked. I am however in the Hunter for the Bruce Springsteen concert so I may pole around a little and see what is left from 2104.

Cheers

Hi Mahmoud
I have 3 bottles left, from a dozen bought on or near release. I went through the 1st half a little too quickly, latest bottle opened Jun 2015 so I probably should pop another this year. Do you ever travel over here?

Hi Ian,

Very prescient of you to have bought them. It was a one off and I don't think there was very much made.

It's been a while since I've been that way, usually passing through Heathrow, though I was in Paris a couple of years ago. Nice of you to offer and if I'm ever passing through I will let you know and maybe bring along something special of my own.

Cheers .................... Mahmoud.
