Has been an exceptional QPR wine for many years. Be interesting to see where it goes on price. It has pretty much always punched above its weight. Yet another wine that Treasury bastardised. Great to see it back in the hands of the original owners. Hopefully they produce many years of great wines off this vineyard.

Cheers
Ian
If you had to choose between drinking great wine or winning Lotto, which would you choose - Red or White?

After years hearing about conglomerate takeovers of wineries and their despoiling of brands and product it is good to hear news about things going the other way. Good news indeed.

Ok I will bite...hip hip hooray!
Perhaps the days of $10 Metala are over, but got another 6 for $60 this morning. I think there is an opportunity to revive the Black Label version too, and stop the grey label cabernet that was being flogged through large chains. Hopefully the new price structure is about $15 for the white label and say $40 for the Black. They could also look at reintroducing the triple blend of cab/shiraz/malbec, last one was the 2009 vintage I think.

Cheers Craig
Tomorrow will be a good day
