Carlton supporter here. 😕 The saving grace is that we're also a house of Arsenal supporters. Hoping for the most glorious of seasons: Arsenal to be the premiers and to see Spurs relegated. I've no DP in the cellar but will have to run out and buy some if that comes to fruition. Can’t believe I’m sa...

No idea, I have a bunch of different vintages back to 2010 and this is the first one I have had that had completely fallen over ... and based on the cellar tracker notes others have had the same experience with the 2014.

Tasting notes from the cellar - 2026 edition

Hey folks, I was just back in Adelaide for two a bit weeks (slightly extended due to travel chaos) and got through quite a few wines largely from my cellar... thought I would share the notes. 2009 d'Arenberg Cabernet Sauvignon The Coppermine Road - Australia, South Australia, Fleurieu, McLaren Vale ...

Re: Wine Cellaring re-visted ( too much wine? )

This is such an interesting thread, thanks everyone for their comments. For me, I think I have around 900 bottles but I am not 100% sure because I sold about 110 bottles a couple of years ago and I have never got around to taking them out of my cellar tracker. I probably have 700 bottles in a rented...

In remarkable condition, not much bubbles visible in the glass or detectable on the tongue, medium-sweet. Terrific wine enjoy it now, why wait.
I have always wanted to try this wine... thanks for the note!

Re: October 2025 purchases

Utopos Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz Blend 2021 - 3x75cl... these popped up for £97.50/3 pack with free delivery, seemed an interesting deal vs the slightly crazy price in aus and recommended by a website I trust (Vinorium).

Anyone have any familiarity with this label?

Thanks for that Sam. I'm trying another this week - Vinatis, who are based in France and who I've seen recommended on wine pages. Prices from ok to good, and range wide, though it seems a high % of co-ops. They've processed the order within a day, so the recommendation that said they were efficient...

Any good ones you'd still recommend? In this case I was ordering from Decantalo and Svinando ... Decantalo still has a full range but pricing not always so good now (but they have always been a very reliable service over the years. Svinando has a pretty limited range but good for cheap and cheerful...

2012 Barbaresco, Asili, Cascina Luisin, Piedmont, Italy x 6 ... spotted these on BBX for £99 (in bond) which seemed remarkably cheap for Barbaresco with some age, even if not a super heralded producer.

Hi.. this is noted, unfortunately I lack the tech skills to trouble shoot this. Probably I need to upgrade the version of the forum, I will try and look into that. Let me know any more issues that people have.

I had a very nice Sidewood Mappinga Chardonnay recently, that comes in around $40.

I also had a very good Phillip Shaw No11 Chardonnay that was also under $50.

Don't know about the cheaper Aussie chardonnays these days.

Hey Allan, I have previously tasted this same wine/vintage back in October 2022: "This is very restrained at first. Subtle to the point of disappointment. With more air it shows a little bit more. it is certainly a very perfumed style of syrah, which I expect from this producer. Purple berries,...
