Also I never buy more than four of each wine. For everyday drinking, my local bottle shop normally has about 6 Reds on tasting at any one time...

I went into a bottle shop/drive-through in the eastern suburbs and walked straight out again. The shop was hotter th...

I made my own labels. The first batch I made was produced from white card purchased from the newsagent, using a paper Guillotine and a hole punch. The second lot, I used 0.5mm clear plastic sheet with stick-on paper labels. I re-use the plastic components each time. Writting out new sticky labels wh...

My first real attempt at tasting notes - last weeks wine 05 Pertaringa Over The Top Shiraz First tasted this wine at cellar door in the height of summer from an open decanter. Not as I rembered it, this time- the nose, I get more fruit, plum and backgound mocha. I remember the fine french oak and en...

yes Dr-307 Always a surprise packet every year! A Quote from the Wirra Wirra Site- “RSW is a unique wine which is not made to a certain consistent or uniform style year after year, but rather is aimed at reflecting the very best that the vineyards in this region have to offer in a given vintag...
